Colonist Guidelines

Group

• Always be an ACTIVE group member
• Stay on subject
• Always BE with YOUR GROUP
• Work HARD so that you will be PROUD of yourself.

Computer

• ONLY use the programs that the teacher says to use (Microsoft Word and this webquest webpage)
• Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINKS around  the computer
• NO horseplay around the computer (no fighting, no messing with another person's computer, etc.)
•  Do NOT argue over who will type on Tuesday and Wednesday because the teachers will choose what group member types the script

Internet

• ONLY use the websites listed in the webquest.

Play

• Be CREATIVE!
• The play should be about 1 to 2 minutes long.
• You need to include EVERY character in your play.
• You MUST use FACTS in your play, because you are teaching the audience about colonial life through your play.
• No horsing around while writing the script, making the props, and practicing the play - you have LIMITED time to practice, so use it WISELY!
• Be proud of your work! :)

You WILL LOSE PRIVELEDGES if you do not follow the guidelines! Be smart, respectful and responsible!
